The early pioneers of Australia and particularly the prospectors of the gold rushes helped to shape our wonderful country.  

 

These pioneers came from all corners of the globe and in doing so bought with them fashions and styles that reflected their stories.

 

From the arid and dangerous remoteness of the Australian outback, gold was discovered that was crafted into the most amazing and stunning pieces.  These pieces often told stories of their own.

 

I feel it is important to preserve these stories.
